Simply said, photography is fun!  I enjoy the whole process from responding to the visual stimulus of a subject to making the final print.  I'm always looking to see how the light is revealing the form or shape of things.

My preferred medium is traditional, film based, black and white photography.  Although I'm not opposed to digital media, I prefer more "hands on" involvement; therefore, I develop and print all my own work.  This total immersion in the process gives me the greatest satisfaction.

Finally, I do not see the world as a lonely, inconsequential planet, randomly spinning through space without purpose.  I am convinced that our world and all its beauty, is a statement of the incalculable diversity, precision, creativity, and enormous power of an Intelligent Designer, The Lord Jesus Christ.  My desire is to honor Him in my photographs.
